Pearson, Les, Timber Tramways on the Atherton Tablelands, published by the author, c. 1985.
- Describes the Peeramon Tramway, and the Evelyn Tramway. Both were horse hauled, wooden railed tramways working on the Atherton Tableland in the 1910s and 1920s. Includes maps, photographs, and details of operating procedures.
Joe's Book ... facts and theories on the Bunya Mountains, Published and distributed by Joe Walker, Bell, Queensland. First reprint July 1978 ISBN 95615 0 8
- Contains descriptions of the tramways built by Lars Andersen & Sons at Pinecliffe mountain, Upper Cressbrook Creek, and at Maidenwell in the Bunya Mountains, including constructional and operational details. These tramways each consisted of a steep balanced incline, and a horse worked line running from the foot of the incline to a sawmill. The Pinecliffe line operated from 1922 to 1942, and the Bunya Mountains line from 1923 to 1942. In the Bunya Mountains there was also a short powered winch line which was used to haul logs up the slope on the oppoosite side of the ridge to a point adjacent to the head of the balanced incline.
